Registration for 2017-2018

Registration Schedule

Current Students: 8:15 am to 2:00 pm from March 27, 2017 to March 31, 2017.

Siblings of Current Students: 8:15 am to 12:00 pm on April 3, 2017.

New Students: 8:15 am to 2:00 pm starting on April 4, 2017.

Please read the details of the procedure outlined below:

  • Returning Students Registration:
    Registration will start for current students who wish to return for the 2017/2018 school year on March 27, 2017. We advise all our students to register as soon as possible to ensure a spot for next year. In order to guarantee admission, completed registration forms and payment must be submitted between March 27, 2017 and March 31, 2017.

    Please note: registration of returning students submitted after March 31, 2017 will be placed on a waiting list.
  • Siblings of Current Students Registration:
    Registration for siblings of new students will be given a priority by allowing all siblings to register on April 3, 2017. The registration will be open at 8:15 am to 12:00 pm ONLY that day. This short period of time will allow siblings of any current students to register before it is open to the public.
  • New Students Registration:
    Registration for new students will start on April 4, 2017. Parents are requested to come without their child(ren) as the registration day will be for registration ONLY.

Please keep in mind that spots are limited and will be guaranteed on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Once the registration and payment process is complete, and a spot is available for the student, the parents will be contacted at a later date to come to the school to write the assessment (Language & Math). Passing the assessment with a 70% average is mandatory for the acceptance of all new students.

All applications MUST be submitted by a parent, guardian, or an authorized adult IN PERSON.

Any application that is missing some of the mandatory requirements will be rejected.

  Mandatory Registration Requirements

Student registration requirements are as follows:

  • Registration Forms for Current Students
    • Current Students will receive the registration package on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Parents can pick up additional registration packages from the ISH Secretary.
    • Please complete and sign all forms. Incomplete forms will NOT be accepted.
    • Current ISH students are given a full week of early registration to prioritize their registration for next year. However, any current student that does not submit their forms as early as possible will not be guaranteed a spot for next year if the class is full.
    • Important: There is high demand for some classes; guaranteed spots will only be given to those that submit their forms as early as possible. Spots will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Registration Forms for New Students
    • New students must submit the completed registration package starting April 3rd for siblings and April 4th for all other new students.
    • All registration packages must be submitted in-person to the Secretary.
    • There are no guarantees to spot availability. However, after submitting the forms and there are available spots in that specific grade, the student will be scheduled for an entrance assessment with a teacher and their acceptance will depend on their passing grade in the entrance assessment.
  • Additional Necessary Documents for New Students ONLY
    • A copy of the birth certificate or passport
    • A copy of the health card
    • A copy of the immunization records
    • A copy of latest report card
    • 2 passport pictures

  Payment Requirements

  • Payments will be received by Cheque, Credit Card, or debit transaction. Cash is NOT accepted.
  • You must complete the following steps to ensure guarantee student admission:
    • Submit a non-refundable cheque of $325 for registration and supply fees
    • The monthly payments are as follows:
      • First and last month cheques must be submitted upon registration. The last month cheque will be deposited on August 1st, 2017 and the first month cheque will be deposited on September 1st, 2017.
      • Additionally, you must submit 8 post-dated cheques covering October 2017 to May 2018. This must be submitted with the registration package.
      • Any returned cheques (i.e. insufficient funds in bank account) will be subject to $50 charge

Please note: The registration package, along with the payments, must be submitted together at the time of registration. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of the registration package.

Note: Sibling monthly discount

The 2nd child receives $25 off, the 3rd receives $50 off, the 4th receives $75 off, and so on.
